The Sky Arena is a core element of Sword of Shadows. Whether you're fighting your way to the top of the Sky Arena list or just having fun with friends, we've got some recommendations of skills sets to survive and thrive in the Sky Arena.
Combination 1: Drunken Fist & Fist of the Monkey
Drunken fist has a very practical multi-stage dash effect, allowing you to create distance between you and your opponent and save rage quickly. When paired with Fist of the Monkey, which is a very suppressive skill, the advantages compound further. So how do you use it?
Start with Fist of the Monkey to attack, then switch to Drunken Fist and dash away. The cooldown time of Monkey Fist gives you enough time to boost the second attack. The philosophy behind Drunken Fist is that it is a purple quality skill, dealing higher damage. The change can trigger the Switch Skill and Monkey Fists. This skills set definitely leaves no chance for enemies to breathe.
Combination 2: Winter's Blade & Bloodmoon Blade
Many have learnt to use this combo, starting with the Bloodmoon Blade. After locking your enemy with skill three, change to Winter's Blade: Charge of Spirits and end with flying skills. The skill sequence has only one weakness: Dragon's Claw. Once you fly over the reach of the Claw skills, however, nobody can touch you.
Combination 3: Devil's Palm & Tai Chi Sword
The philosophy of this combination is HP Recovery to the point where you're nearly invincible. The Heaven's Sword, tier 4, can recover your HP according to your own defense and attack. Devil's Palm can offer you a protection layer and extra HP recovery. What if you are coincidently bringing a HP recovery Divine Weapon? In that case, your enemy can't do anything but stay away.
There are tons of skill combinations to explore in Sword of Shadows. Feel free to try out the ones above or experiment with your own!
